What you can drive 

  • Medium and large delivery trucks

  • Commercial or shuttle buses

Vehicles must be rigid (no trailer or pivot point).

Licence requirements (NT)

To apply for a Northern Territory HR licence, you must:

  • Hold Class C (car) licence for at least 24 months

  • Current NT-issued Class C licence

  • Pass the practical driving assessment

  • Pass the MVR knowledge test

  3. Sit the driving assessment

  4. Go to MVR for the theory test

  5. Receive your new HR manual licence
