Training & Assessment Policies

• Full payment is required on the day of training or assessment, prior to commencement.

• Failure to make payment on the day may result in the training or assessment being voided.

• NT Truck Training & Testing reserves the right to refuse service if payment is not made.

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations.

• Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the booking being forfeited and a new booking required.

• If NT Truck Training & Testing cancels a training or assessment session, it will be rescheduled at no cost.

• Rebooking requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.

• Rebooking is subject to availability.

• Repeated rebooking requests may be declined at the discretion of NT Truck Training & Testing.

• Failure to attend a scheduled training or assessment without notice is considered a no-show.

• No-shows will result in the session being forfeited.

• A new booking and full payment will be required to continue training or assessment.

• Students are expected to arrive on time.

• Late arrival may result in reduced training time or cancellation of the session.

• If a session cannot proceed due to late arrival, it may be treated as a no-show.

• Students must hold the appropriate valid licence for the training or assessment being undertaken.

• Students must be fit to drive and free from the influence of drugs or alcohol.

• NT Truck Training & Testing reserves the right to cancel or refuse training or assessment if safety requirements are not met.

• In the event that NT Truck Training & Testing must cancel due to weather, vehicle issues, or instructor availability, the session will be rescheduled at no cost to the student.

• No refunds will be issued in these circumstances unless rescheduling is not possible.

This Refund Policy forms part of the Training & Assessment Policies and must be read in conjunction with the Payment, Cancellation, Rebooking, and No-Show Policies.

NT Truck Training & Testing generally requires payment on the day of training. In some circumstances, advance payment may be accepted by prior arrangement or from business clients.

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled training or assessment

• Failure to attend a booked session (no-show)

• Late arrival resulting in training or assessment being unable to be completed

• Student ineligibility or failure to meet licensing, medical, or assessment requirements

Where sufficient notice is provided, bookings may be rescheduled in accordance with the applicable policies.

If NT Truck Training & Testing cancels a training or assessment session due to instructor unavailability, vehicle issues, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, the client will be offered:

• Rescheduling at no additional cost, or

• A refund of any fees paid in advance where rescheduling is not possible

Third-Party Payments and No-Shows
For students whose training is paid in advance by a third-party organisation, refunds will not be issued for late cancellations, no-shows, or repeated non-attendance. NT Truck Training & Testing may, at its discretion, offer a reschedule; however, repeated no-shows may result in cancellation of further bookings without refund. All enquiries regarding rescheduling must be directed to NT Truck Training & Testing.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
